The heat came back on last night at around 12:30 am, the pipes gurgling and steaming just like they always do. The plumbing guys were there when I cam home from dinner at 10, and again when I left the house this morning at 8:30, so at least they were taking it seriously. It's, like, fifty degrees out (which I approve of, personally; I hate the cold) but for some reason, the heat is turned all the way up in my apartment, so I am broiling, even with the window open. Sigh. And I can't get the wireless signal to hold in the bedroom where it's cooler, so I am stuck here for the moment.
